R H THOMSEN

R.H Thomsen started his career in horse racing as an apprentice and worked as a jockey for nine years. For further nine years he was the foreman for T.J. Smith. In 1976 he started work as a trainer.
Midstream Lodge is located at Randwick Racecourse and has a reputation as being one the best stables available. R.H Thomsen is a patient trainer able to achieve a horse's full potential for sprinters, middle distance performers and stayers. The stable was also successful in preparing horses for overseas based owners. Regularly contracted jockeys include Shane Dye, Glenn Boss and Chris Munce.
