HARRY WHITE

Harry White had almost equal success as rider of stayers and sprinters. He won his first big race in 1964, the Duke of Norfolk Stakes, which he later won on four further occasions. Harry White's association with trainers Bart Cummings and George Hanlon contributed to his success in staying races.
When Harry White retired after an outstanding career of 35 years he had won almost 200 feature races including 4 Melbourne Cups and 4 Melbourne Jockey Premierships.
