DAMIEN OLIVER

Damien, Mark Oliver was born in Perth, Western Australia on 22.7.1972. He worked as an apprentice jockey for Lindsey Rudland and Lee Freedman. Damien Oliver rode his first winner Mr Gudbud in March 1988 at Bunbury, WA. He achieved his first feature win in August 1989 on Goucho at the AJC Warwick Stakes and his first Group 1 win at the VATC Vic Health Cup on Submariner, trained by Bart Cummings.
